Western win place on Fusion21 Modular Framework

Western Building Systems have secured a place on the Fusion21 Modular Education Building Framework following a recent Tender Process.

The Framework, worth in the region of £225m over fours years, will service Fusion21 members, who include local education authorities, colleges and universities throughout the United Kingdom.

Having secured a space on the NHS Shared Business Services Modular Building Framework and the LHC Modular Building Framework, Western Building Systems Operations Director, Declan McCloskey welcomed the latest success. He said: “This Framework represents a further opportunity for the growth of the company. We look forward to working with Fusion21 and their partners over the coming years.”

Speaking about the award of the Framework, Nick Verburg, Procurement and Supply Chain Manager at Fusion21, said: “This framework offers a flexible procurement solution to all education providers and local authorities who require permanent or temporary safe learning spaces to cope with growing student numbers – and seek quality modular buildings which are compliant with all building regulations and present lower carbon emissions than traditional builds.”
